Holiday Apartments |
| Tucked
away in a narrow street off bustling Stall Street, these exclusive holiday apartments
are as close to the heart of Bath as you can get. |
| Yet
from the bedroom windows, looking over rooftops, there is a surprisingly
rural view of wooded ground rising to Beechen Cliff. |
| All
the flats are light and airy and the furnishings are full of colour, ideal for a self catering holiday.
Access is by carpeted staircase with old prints of Bath on the walls. |
| In
places the floors slope underfoot and the original oak beams (not
always level) show through the new cornice ceilings. |
| The self catering accommodation was restored from top to bottom in 1996, leaving exposed
beams, cast iron fireplaces and a blocked mullion window on the stairs. |

Each
apartment comprises a double and single bedroom (with south facing views)
and a lounge/dining room - all these rooms have large windows, corniced
ceilings and old fireplaces; there is a well-equipped fitted kitchen
which includes an automatic washing machine/dryer; a bathroom with
a high quality shower over the bath, pedestal wash basin and toilet.
The lounge is furnished with sofas, coffee table, colour TV and
video, dining table with chairs, wall prints, table lamps and silk
curtains. There is a telephone with meter in each flat.
An entryphone connects the front door at street level with each
apartment. |
